A Season 2 of an additional 40 episodes[3][4] commenced airing in the United Kingdom on ngày 23 tháng 11 năm 2009 on BBC One và BBC HD.[5] It had already started airing in Germany on ngày 18 tháng 10 năm 2009. The series director was Chris Sadler. This series was shot with digital camera still images that were edited into high definition video. There were major changes in the look of the characters (e.g. Bitzer and Pidsley now have fur), and the title sequence was also adapted to reflect these changes.
